Health insurance for Hyzyd is a must!

Even if I put my child in a glass case for protection, he'd find a way to break the glass and cut himself. Mild accidents happened last night despite my best childproofing and safety efforts.

Last night my 14-month old tot was with me in the living room. He is playing and watching Mickey Mouse Club House at the same time. Because he seemed busy with his activity, I prepare our dinner in a nearby table. The moment I turned my back at him, I already heard a loud crash! I was petrified of what might happen to my baby. He was standing next to a fallen stand fan with broken blades around him! I checked on him if he has cuts, or any sort of injury. Thanks be to God that he's alright. I'm relieved. When I'm done picking up the broken pieces, I bathed him. I got the shock of my life again for he managed to put in his mouth a portion of the broken blade! How come was he able to manage to pick up one and put it in his mouth? What if he swallowed the broken blade?

In times like this, I am hoping to avail a health insurance for my baby like the Tonik Health Insurance as soon as possible. For little or no cost, this insurance pays for doctor visits, immunizations, hospitalizations, and emergency room visits. Tonik Health Insurance is offered by Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, one of the largest insurance providers in the world, and the most trusted name in the insurance industry. Too bad it wasn't available here in Thailand. I better ask my Thai friends who can speak English so that they could help me avail the health insurance I need for my kid.

Because of what happened, I stay aware and more vigilant when it comes to home safety. They said that the most tragic accidents are the ones that could have been prevented. Adequate supervision is the key with children. It only takes a few seconds for an accident to occur. I'm always imploring God's protection and shielding for my family every second and every minute of the day.

advantages of using ergo baby carriers

I really find it very convenient to have a baby carrier . I could get things done around the house. I could do my rounds on shopping. We could eat in a restaurant without any hassles. I like Hyzyd to be held all the time while I'm at home on weekends and at the same time doing some minimal household chores. I read from the Baby Book of William and Martha Shears that using a baby carrier reduces crying and colic. A 1986 study of 99 mother-infant pairs (reported in Pediatrics) showed that carrying babies at least three hours a day reduces crying and fussing 43% during the day and 51% at night. Babies are happier because they have less need to cry, and parents enjoy their babies more as a result. This simply explains why Hyzyd is a happy baby. I don't have a problem with him. Carrying my baby promotes bonding and enhances my feelings of competence as a parent. A higher frequency of feeding and touching stimulates mothering hormones, and frequent carrying encourages and speeds the

First aid for bump/bruises

Today's topic at Mommy Moments is to share some of our first-aid techniques. Here's the up-to-date guide in aiding bumps/bruises: Before, I think that I need to apply ice on a bruise until it heals. Now, I learned that Ice or a cold compress is useful in the first 24 hours, then switch to warm compresses Why? A bruise is a broken blood vessel under the skin, and applying ice to the area early on will help stop the internal bleeding and inflammation. A day after the injury, put warm compresses or a hot water bottle on the bruise to increase blood flow to the area, which will help break up the blood clot. A heating pad on a low setting will also work -- just be sure to place a cloth or towel between it and your child´s skin. (None of this will produce magical healing, though: You´ll probably see a kaleidoscope of colors for about 10 days.) an entry for:
