Hyzyd and his car

We don't yet have a car but Hyzyd already experienced riding on cars or vans when friends came to pick us up. Hyzyd's favorite past time too is riding on toy cars at Skippy's Wonderland. It's amazing to see him driving the car like a professional...LOL! If we'll have our car one of these days, I see to it that I must keep cars keys out of reach of my children. It's important to lock the cars, even when in the garage. I will teach my child/children that cars are not toys to play in and on or around, and that cars are dangerous. I should make my child/children understand that cars are not hiding places for games, and are dangerous, even deadly places. Kids are in and around cars from birth and become familiar with them. Cars are like an extension of our homes. Parents need to remember that cars are huge metal objects and in essence more deadly than having a loaded gun in the home. Leaving a child unattended in a car is now illegal in many states. Common sense shou...

Love languages of Hyzyd

Hyzyd is now 15 months old and so far we learned to speak love in his primary love language through quality time, physical touch and words of appreciation. I hope these makes him feel loved. I feel that our relationship grow as we practice that specific love language. Hyzyd loves to kiss and be kissed, hug and be hugged, pose with the camera and flash those wonderful smiles when we appreciate him. As we now live at a walking distance to the one of the big malls in the city, quality time together is spent on walking and visiting the children's playground in the mall. I make an effort to stroll him at the mall and I make it a priority every weekend. an entry for

Hyzyd and the Berenstains' Bears

Hyzyd got new favorites week after week. Most of his favorites involves books. He's not really into toys and movies but books! This week he's into a new book titled "The Berenstain Bears and the Big Red Kite". Guess who's his favorite reader? His dad! He won't let me read it to him. Poor mommy!:( On the other, I'm quite relieved because Hyzyd is giving his dad a hard task...he..he...He won't let his dad go over to other pages. He wanted his dad to create stories after stories out from this illustration for as long as 30 minutes! LOL! I also enjoy the stories made up by his dad- stories that came from "out-of-nowhere". can you help us make more more stories out from this illustration? It seems that we're running out of ideas...LOL! an entry for

Mommy Moments- Arrival of our baby

My Shining Moments with Hyzyd

our recent family photo The first time I joined Mommy Moments , Hyzyd was still 3 months old at that time. Time flies so fast and my baby is now a toddler . It seems that I'm partly documenting my moments with my baby here with Mommy Moments :) I'm kinda late of my entry today coz we went to Hatyai City Municipality Park to visit the Lantern Festival ( the details for this event will be documented at Away from Home as my entry for Pixel Bug Weekend ) . I had a great time with my family. Hyzyd enjoyed the lights and the people. He loves to be in a place where he can see people and he will give his smile to them and greet them with " wai ". Our Little Drummer

Every time Hyzyd heard his uncle playing his guitar or his dad playing the drum, he wanted to try too as I've posted here . We bought a toy drum for Hyzyd coz it helps develop his spatial perception and arm muscles as well as auditory nerves. Toy drum isn't enough for him and no one can stop Hyzyd from trying the real drum! His dad gave in to his demand one Sunday afternoon to play the real drum coz he won't stop crying around and pointing to the drum set's direction. Oh, whatta boy! Can he be our little talented kid?
