happy 7 months baby!

Today, our little boy is seven months old! PTL! He's teething on the upper part of his gums that's why he's not feeling well today and has fever. Though he's not feeling well, he's not fussy or whining. We still continue doing our routine except that he's not taking his bath. I just wiped him about 6 times and change clothes 6 times this day for he's sweating profusely! The fever subsided in the morning but came back again later in the afternoon... Tonight, he's sleeping soundly that's why I find time finishing my "writing task". Good night!

My knee protector

Mommy bought this knee pad to protect my knees because I already crawl so fast!!! but Mommy said, I still crawl with my whole body being dragged! Just wait mommy, few more days to come and you'll see me crawling in all four! Anyway, thanks for this protection..I know you love me so much..I love you too, mommy! I now love holding toys and I do appreciate colors this days! My Tito Bjoy told my mommy that after 10 minutes I became bored and called mommy through my whimpering because I didn't know how to play Lego! It's not true...I'm just hungry Tito Bjoy...he..he... You'll see here how much I enjoy what I'm doing and analyzing what to do with them..LOL!

Baby's day out!

I was planning to go to TESCO Lotus to grab some grocery and Hyzyd's infant formula before heading back home but I remembered that I just left my member card in our house so I need to drop first in our house. When I checked for baby in his nanny's house, he just awakened so I decided to bring him with me doing my grocery! I'm excited of the idea..he..he..It's my first time to go out alone with Hyzyd. I just called my hubby to pick us up in the mall. I decided to bring along Hyzyd so that we could have our bonding. This school days, I'm not with him from 7:30-3:30 pm. So, I see to it that after school it will be Hyzyd's time, it would be family time! Do you know that we just pay 143.00 baht for our food at KFC because they have promo price for today! We already have fried rice, fried chicken, fish fillet, french fries plus the beverage. It's nice to have full tummy before doing the grocery..he..he...

My baby loves B-I-N-G-O!

One morning after sending Hyzyd to his nanny, I came back to bring his food and other stuff, I'm so amazed to find how attentive he was to his fave nursery rhymes especially the song B-I-N-G-O!. Look how his eyes fixed to the program! His schedule for watching nursery rhymes is only 15 minutes. Just tonight, I find this article about Background TV disturbing and I want to share it with you: Tue, Jul 15, 2008 (Reuters Health) — Having the television on in the background while pre-schoolers play with their toys disrupts their efforts to sustain attention, even when they don't pay much attention to it, and may harm their development, researchers report in current issue the journal Child Development. Pediatricians recommend no TV for children under age 2, yet studies show that three quarters of very young children in America live in homes where the TV is on most of the time, notes the research team led by Dr. Marie Evans Schmidt of the Center on Media and Child Health at Children&#

Forgetful mommy

Last Wednesday, as I picked up Hyzyd from his nanny's house, I was shocked when she informed me that I forgot to put in the diaper bag the baby's infant formula! I couldn't believe myself to forget the most important food for my baby! Good thing that our house key was left to her, so she freely got in our house. If I brought the key along, they will be forced to call me and I will surely be running for my life to save my baby from hunger even if that means leaving my work! I assured my baby it will never happen again. I will leave a can of infant formula to his nanny to be sure at all times.

updates coming soon...

I'll be posting soon some photos of Hyzd with his new tricks and milestones...It will be a recap..I'm just too busy this time. I'm already sorting his pics according to months. Hope to have a photobook for all his pics. I gotta get him now from grandma who babysits him.

Thankful Thursday #1

After everything God has been doing in my life, He truly deserves all praises and glory! 1. I praise God for the INTERRUPTIONS -like the problem or the circumstances I didn't plan on or see coming (maybe I could share this next time). I learned to accept that God teaches me that adversity produces maturity. "Under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don't try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do it's work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way." (James 1:2-4 TM) 2. I praise God for resolving the issue of my baby's plight .You see, when I came back to work, he's left to his babysitter again (7:00 am-4:00 pm) but he's not coping well with it. He cried profusely for the whole time and it's my first time to see him howl like that! It truly broke my heart seeing him with all those tears, sweat and snot! His face was reddish and his eyes were swollen from all those crying. H

My baby's plight....

Officially, I'm back to school...back to the old routine- wakes up at 5:00 am, fixes breakfast for the family (this includes Hyzyd's homemade healthy food for his breakfast and lunch besides his infant formula), and bathes the baby before sending him to his nanny. I fixed myself last for school. When I went back home during lunch time, I received the sad news. My baby is crying the whole time he's with his nanny which didn't happen before. He's looking for me for the whole time! My brother who happened to visit us couldn't stand hearing his nephew crying. He decided to take care of the the baby for few hours until I arrived. Hearing the news breaks me into million pieces.... When I see him, his face radiates with unimaginable joy that only mothers could understand...Oh my poor baby!...For my one month vacation, he's already accustomed to see and listen to my voice 24/7- when he opens his eyes after sleeping, hear me singing lullabies, play with him, listen n

The Wonders of "bath net"

Everytime I bath Hyzyd, I had a hard time doing it without the aiding hands of my hubby because Hyzyd is already heavy and very "likot". There are times that he's not around and I need to bath Hyzyd alone. It's a good thing that the "bath net" (sorry for the term guyz)...he..he..do some wonders: my so-called bath net in his bath tub It really did wonders...see, he just sit down and enjoy his bath and I have an easy time soaping and rinsing him...hassle-free...we even took this shots...he..he...

Back to himself

After the immunization/vaccination, Hyzyd is not feeling well. It's my first time to see him crying so hard...I felt that he's really in pain! I couldn't do anything to ease the pain he felt at that time. His face is sooo red and won't stop crying even what comfort I did to him. I almost brought to tears. I really prayed hard that God will touch Hyzyd. I'm carrying him with so much care, too afraid to touch his swollen leg. When his dad came into the room, we prayed for healing and then dad read the Bible to us. Hyzyd stopped crying and listened attentively to his dad reading. I was so relieved that his cry stopped though he won't let anyone touched or carried him except me. He slept soundly at 10:00 pm instead of his usual 7:30 pm sleeping schedule. Today, he's back to himself...laughing when I do some visual jokes like hopping like a rabbit or barking like a dog, giggle when I tickles him and do his raspberry-blowing...I am so happy to see him this way:

Being grumpy is not OK

Baby, Let this photo reminds you that you don't look handsome when you let your temper takes over you..OK?

Babbling babe has a babbling mom...

What would I feel when my baby could walk on his own? ...it's pretty exciting...While scanning Hyzyd's pics I came across some snapshots of him taken by his uncle. He looks like telling me that he can now manage to take his first step! Oh baby! What bright eyes you have! I love them...Mwaaahhhh

Our visit to the pedia...

Last Thursday was Hyzyd's 5th visit to his pediatrician. Before we left the house I must be sure that his diary (issued by the hospital) must be brought. It listed his personal data, growth, vaccination schedules and other important topics to be considered by the mother (unfortunately, they don't have English version for this..he..he..). I should see to it that we carry his VIP card to avail discounts...*wink*... The Child Diary I was caught off-guard when he cried so hard when I put him down to be weighed. He's scared of the nurses that surrounded him! It took awhile before he calmed down and be weighed again. Sshhh..shhhh baby..mommy's here... It's good that his dad is with us...they had a heart-to-heart talk...Oh! Look at his swelling eyes... We played and watched movie while waiting for our time. This was taken inside the doctor's office.Unfortunately, my hubby haven't included our doctor's presence here. I was even planning to brag (just kidding..he
