You're 4 week old! Time for your vaccination.

How's your growing, baby Hyzyd? You started to gurgle, coo, grunt, and hum to express your feelings. You're one of the few babies who also begin squealing and laughing. I make sure to coo and gurgle back, and talk to you face to face. I noticed that you enjoy holding my gaze now. I also noticed that you still enjoy hearing my voice from across the room. I don't feel silly about using baby talk for I read that babies are particularly attuned to this high-pitched, drawn-out way of communicating, which can actually teach the baby about the structure and function of language. gazing on your mommy you love talking to your grandpa You're now scheduled for vaccination . I wonder why there are so many vaccines recommended for babies? No parent enjoys seeing her baby getting shots or taking medicine. But vaccines are designed to provide protection against serious diseases and many people consider them the most important part of well-baby checkups. Some of those diseases (su

Welcome home baby....

The day you're born...

Baby Hyzyd, I haven't find time before to post our first pictures, so I'm coping this time. I will post one of this days ( the moment I have spare time )on what mommy felt and undergone on the day I deliver you. No words can explain how much mommy loves you baby. This is our first picture together. Mommy is still weak but can't help smiling when I see you for the first time. You are crying so loud. Look at your picture. Do you see how cute you are? You stopped crying the moment you hear my voice. I whispered lovingly to you "Welcome baby. Thank you Father God for this baby. I love you baby." It's good that the doctor who attended the delivery allowed your daddy to take your pictures ( the first doctor I have didn't allow to have your father with me and against taking pictures inside the delivery room ).You were born at Rajyindee Hospital, Hatyai City, Songkhla, Thailand on October 23, 2008 at 6:54 in the morning. You weigh 2.93 kg. You were first placed

Cough that change the nanny

Our beloved son Hyzyd, After the heat rash episode, you are having cough. I presumed, maybe because you always travel early morning when the sun doesn't appear yet, the fog still covered the road and morning dews still covered the plants. Grandma also mentioned that at the back of their house there is an ongoing school construction and repainting. Air pollution is not good for you baby. "Oh God, please give us a nanny who could take care of Hyzyd in our house" I whispered a prayer as I picked you up and rubbed your chest. I told your daddy that we'll go to Rajyindee hospital to see your doctor. When we got home, our neighbor noticed you having a cough and adviced us to give you the oregano leaves. We just blanched the leaves for 5 minutes and then your dad squeeze them to extract the juice. We give you the medication through a dropper. Thanks be to God, now you are fine. We decided to talk to our grandma neighbor and told her that we wanted her to take care of you. S

Hyzyd with Heat Rash

Yesterday as we pick up Hyzyd, Grandma is asking us if we saw the red bumps on his neck, chest, stomach and at the back. I said "No, I haven't." I'm kinda worried about it and talked to my hubby that we're going to his pediatrician. He told me we'll first observe. Grandma gave us Caladramine Lotion to rub on the affected area. She told us it is caused by the change of weather. This week is very hot and I noticed that Hyzyd is sweating profusely even early morning. Thanks be to God that the red bumps subsided this morning and only few were left on his arms and legs. I'm searching today about common skin allergy of babies. I came across about heat rash. I posted here for the information of other mommy's on what can we do about it. Thanks to babycenter.com for the information. What is heat rash? Heat rash, also known as "prickly heat" or "summer rash," is an eruption of little bumps (and sometimes tiny blisters) on the skin that can sh

Our Prayers and Thanksgiving

My dearest baby Hyzyd, You wake up at 5:45 am today. I love the way you smile and the expression of your eyes every time I greet you “Good morning, baby”. I then let you fold your hands to pray, thanking God for the wonderful sleep you had, for the milk you drink and for the clothes you wear. We ask for God’s protection for our travel. As you know, everyday we send you to Grandma Pa. She’s the one who takes care of you while mommy and daddy are working. We also ask God to protect daddy and that He will drive for him because he still have to travel 30-45 minutes going to Songkhla after he drops your mommy at her school. We also asked God for His favor that daddy’s contract will be renewed. We’ll know the final decision from the administration tomorrow. You know baby, last January 5, daddy went to Songkhla to pass his resume at Woranarichaloem Wittayalai and we pray for God’s favor. At 1:00 pm, your dad called us and breaks to us the good news that he was accepted right away and asked to

Your Mommy's Preggy Pictures

This is supposed to be Hyzyd's diary but I included a post about my preggy pictures because I want him to see how I looked when I conceived him. I'm looking for my CD's where I burned some of my pictures. I'm trying to post here some of my preggy pictures . This one was taken at Sakura Hotel where we attended a birthday party of the daughter of my co-teacher. I look thinner here at 3 months because I'm still suffering from morning sickness and I vomit almost 24/7. Those were rough times for me but only by the grace of God I did survive! I'm five months preggy at this time. The dress looks so tight on my tummy..he..he..I don't know why I don't like wearing maternity dress at that time. I started "ballooning". This is also another reason why I don't like posting my preggy pics before. As you can see the label, I'm 7 months preggy . I wore my favorite red dress. My face started to bloat...he..he.. I'll post some other times my other p

Our Baby at 3 months!

Each baby is unique and meets social milestones at his own pace. As for our baby Hyzyd , here are some of the the potential he's able to accomplish as three months-old baby. During this month, he already able to lift his head while on his back and hold it for several minutes. When we let him sit on his carrier he's be able to hold his head steady and erect. When he's on his stomach, we're amazed to see him lifting his head and chest as if he was doing mini-pushups! As his hips and knee joints become more flexible, his kicks are getting stronger. If we hold him up with his feet on the floor he would push down on his legs now. He does it too everytime his dad bathe him. He can bring both hands together and started sucking it...sometimes sucking it too much that we'll remove his finger from his mouth that cause him to cry out loud. LOL! I usually encourage his hand development by holding out a toy to see if he'll grasp it. He grasp it but not yet too tight except
