Grumpy baby...

Baby Hyzyd is turning fussy. Maybe because he's having stuffy nose plus the newly-emerging tooth. But, I read that baby's development is now working in your favor when he's/she's fussy: He's increasingly distractible. He is now intensely interested in the world around him, his rapidly evolving brain zeroes in on things that are new and different. So when he's a little cranky, I use his growing interest in novelty to my advantage by making a funny noise, singing a song, gently banging a pot or banging his toys that produce sounds. These ways help me snap him out from his grumpy mood.

Mommy Moments-Why Hyzvhann Hyzydyll?

The name of our son is Hyzvhann Hyzydyll (read as Hezvan Hezedel). Many are wondering how did we get the name, what does it mean and how to read it. Some jokingly commented that maybe I hate the vowels and some named him the consonant baby...he..he..he. The name was given by his grandfather (my father). We told him that it will be an honor for us if he could give the name of their first grandson. Actually, my father is the one who give us our names-from the eldest (it's me) 'till the 14th child (our youngest). We all have two given names like me I'm named after the combination of my parent's name-Benoni and Geneditha. The result is "Genebei" plus their chosen name for me, Faith = Genebei Faith . Mommy Moments-Rain, Rain Go Away!

It seldom rains here and when it rains Hyzyd doesn't have a chance to witness the rain coz we just stay in our bedroom, play, watch movie and sleep! For the sake of this meme ( LOL!), I prayed for rain to come and I'll let my baby witness the outpouring of the rain...Heaven heard my prayer and it came right after we came from school. We watched the heavy rain on our balcony and the baby enjoyed it. It's not yet time for my baby to play under the rain . Enjoy reading other entries about kiddos desire to let the rain go away coz " little Johnny " wants to play at Mommy Moments !

Mommy Moments- Dress Up Day

Thanks to Willa for the button. Hyzyd usually dress up during Sundays when we're going to church.
