Thankful Thursday #1

After everything God has been doing in my life, He truly deserves all praises and glory!

1. I praise God for the INTERRUPTIONS-like the problem or the circumstances I didn't plan on or see coming (maybe I could share this next time). I learned to accept that God teaches me that adversity produces maturity.

"Under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don't try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do it's work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way." (James 1:2-4 TM)

2. I praise God for resolving the issue of my baby's plight. You see, when I came back to work, he's left to his babysitter again (7:00 am-4:00 pm) but he's not coping well with it. He cried profusely for the whole time and it's my first time to see him howl like that! It truly broke my heart seeing him with all those tears, sweat and snot! His face was reddish and his eyes were swollen from all those crying. He clung to me like he's afraid that I'll leave him again. Oh my baby! I talked to him on why I needed to work, comforted him and prayed that he'll be able to understand and hope that what happened will never happen again. It made me worry a lot but I thank God that he's there to handle my worries.

"Give...your worries...to God" (1 Peter 5:7 NLT) and get busy living the life He gave you to enjoy!

3. I won again!. Though it may not matter to anyone, it does matter to me. Still I praise God even winning contests hosted here in blogosphere. I see a lesson in it. If God is concern of my desire of this little things (which have no value for others), how much more does he cares for my "big" desires, needs and even wants.

"The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want" (Psalms 23:1)

  2. he will take care of all and some of those interuptions or false starts are his way of saving us from other dilemas. I hope one day when we are in heaven that we actually get to see all that he did for us

Mommy Moments- Hyzyd's playing time

Aside from playing by himself , Hyzyd's fave playmates are his dad and his uncle Bjoy-my bro. He's enjoying every minute of it! Last July 4, 2008, it's Hyzyd's first time exploring the toys in TESCO play station! It isn't yet time for him to play in there for it's recommended for 1 year old and above but he's gesturing to his dad that he want to try on! What a fun he had! We bought that green elephant because the first time he saw it and try on it, he just love it. He will not let go of the poor elephant. You'll see he's riding on it while we're shopping. Head on to Mommy Moments to see other kids enjoying their playing time!

Shady Shades

Hyzyd doesn't like wearing wearing shades. The moment you'll let him wear, he'll automatically take it off...maybe he's just to young for this. I'm just glad I had taken some photos of him when he's 6 months old when our neighbor put this shade on him for the first time! The following photos were taken last week when we are playing. I let him wear my shades!...LOL! More babies with shades at Mommy Moments .

Mommy Moments-Part of the Family

I'm dragging myself from bed just to sneak in here and post my Mommy Moments entry. Oh my, I'm so sleepy . I would say that Hyzyd is so blessed to have loving uncles and aunt but the only one he knows by this time is my bro and preggy sis-in-law. They're both teachers too here in Hatyai City, Thailand. They usually spent their weekend with us because they miss my baby . I haven't yet experienced what is it to be aunt that's why I'm overly excited to meet my first niece by October ! Hyzyd was able to meet his Aunt Doxa when he was born. She's our youngest and she became an aunt at age 6. She's very happy to meet her first nephew. She came along with our parents and stay with us for almost 2 months. His aunt Doxa surely missed Hyzyd terribly . Hope they'll meet again this coming October! Join us every Friday at Mommy Moments and enjoy what it takes to be a mommy!
