Hyzyd loves his slot mobile

We are looking for toys that will help develop Hyzyd's mental and physical development , enhance creativity and improve cognitive development instead of "just" toys made of plastic and battery operated toys.

Hence, my hubby chose this slot mobile toy,a simple toy that helps to develop basic shape recognition and eye hand coordination. I believe that Hyzyd's will enjoy fitting the 10 different shapes and colors into 5 geometrically shaped slots in the vehicle driven by Kitz, the lion mascot. The sorting pieces can also be used for simple constructions.

Though it's recommended for children ages 1+, we noticed that though our baby is still 9 months old, he enjoyed playing with it and even attempted to fit the blue cylinder shape into its right slot! Just take a look:

I dunno if it's just plain coincidence but it makes me glad that he loves this toy and I'm hoping that it will truly develop his cognitive, fine motor and independent play skills.

Another toy that he has is this "Shape Small Train" . After threading together the different pieces to form a train, the child can pull his creation along or take it apart again. It helps develop hand-eye coordination.

Maybe at the right time, he could enjoy this toy.

By the way, try to visit http://goodtoys.com.ph/baby toys to find other educational toys for your baby.

  1. it's always not bad to start early.. I was also planning to buy toys like that pero akita ko nga yung Recommended age so i thought next time na lang. We bought a toy with lots of buttons instead.. I read somewhere that pushing buttons also stimulates the baby's brains.

Ask ko lang if baby hyzyd also tries to pull the rubber mat? si Anzu kasi inaalis nya yung mga letters =(

Mommy Moments-Why Hyzvhann Hyzydyll?

The name of our son is Hyzvhann Hyzydyll (read as Hezvan Hezedel). Many are wondering how did we get the name, what does it mean and how to read it. Some jokingly commented that maybe I hate the vowels and some named him the consonant baby...he..he..he. The name was given by his grandfather (my father). We told him that it will be an honor for us if he could give the name of their first grandson. Actually, my father is the one who give us our names-from the eldest (it's me) 'till the 14th child (our youngest). We all have two given names like me I'm named after the combination of my parent's name-Benoni and Geneditha. The result is "Genebei" plus their chosen name for me, Faith = Genebei Faith . I noticed that all of us had great and unique names especially our youngest which is named Doxagennes Keilah . Each of our names has corresponding meanings. Hyzvhann is a modified name of the hebrew vocabulary Heshvan (Cheshvan). Heshvan (Cheshvan) or Mar Cheshvan ...

Hyzyd and the Berenstains' Bears

Hyzyd got new favorites week after week. Most of his favorites involves books. He's not really into toys and movies but books! This week he's into a new book titled "The Berenstain Bears and the Big Red Kite". Guess who's his favorite reader? His dad! He won't let me read it to him. Poor mommy!:( On the other, I'm quite relieved because Hyzyd is giving his dad a hard task...he..he...He won't let his dad go over to other pages. He wanted his dad to create stories after stories out from this illustration for as long as 30 minutes! LOL! I also enjoy the stories made up by his dad- stories that came from "out-of-nowhere". can you help us make more more stories out from this illustration? It seems that we're running out of ideas...LOL! an entry for
