Officially a toddler

Who would thought that my baby is already a toddler?..he..he..it seems that time flies so fast and I couldn't yet fully accept the reality that my baby is now a toddler! I thank God for entrusting to us a healthy boy whom we named Hyzvhann Hyzydyll. May he live up to his name and the way God wants him to be.

Before his birthday on October 23, he surprised us all with his eagerness to walk in our bedroom. It was on October 18, our second wedding anniversary. My parents and younger sister just arrived from Philippines and we're all busy chatting to each other when he suddenly stand on his own and walk! It was truly a great sight and we considered it as the best gift we received on our wedding anniversary.

We went to Bangkok on October 20 to report Hyzyd's birth to the embassy as well as to process his passport. I also took the time to renew my passport and follow-up my teacher's license at Teacher's Council of Thailand.

We booked at NASA Vegas Hotel.

as always Hyzyd loves hotel's soft bed..he..he..

On his birthday, we're on travel going back to Hatyai. A day before his birthday, we spent the day at Siam Paragon where we dined, let him play and just enjoy the day of being together as a family.

his playing time

I thank God that as my toddler still faces the massive challenge of learning to walk, he finds comfort and release in playtime.

He now learned to use his hands for some very important tasks, including holding his cup (not his bottle..he..he..), picking up tiny objects, putting food in his mouth , and waving bye-bye. He summon his dad with a loud and clear “Dade” when he needs something. He seldom says "Mame". I only hear him saying that when he's 6 months..I wonder why.... He loves to give us lots of "wetty" kisses..LOL!

Happy 1 year old my dear little boy. May you have the best years ahead. We always love you. Mwaaahhhhh.

advantages of using ergo baby carriers

I really find it very convenient to have a baby carrier . I could get things done around the house. I could do my rounds on shopping. We could eat in a restaurant without any hassles. I like Hyzyd to be held all the time while I'm at home on weekends and at the same time doing some minimal household chores. I read from the Baby Book of William and Martha Shears that using a baby carrier reduces crying and colic. A 1986 study of 99 mother-infant pairs (reported in Pediatrics) showed that carrying babies at least three hours a day reduces crying and fussing 43% during the day and 51% at night. Babies are happier because they have less need to cry, and parents enjoy their babies more as a result. This simply explains why Hyzyd is a happy baby. I don't have a problem with him. Carrying my baby promotes bonding and enhances my feelings of competence as a parent. A higher frequency of feeding and touching stimulates mothering hormones, and frequent carrying encourages and speeds the
