It's me, HYZYD!

We went to my bro's place at Kuan Hin on August 11 because it's my sis-in-law's birthday. She didn't expect us to be there because it's school days but she expected us to be there on August 12 because it's public holiday . We arrived around 7 pm and she's indeed surprised! Hyzyd wants to blow the candle too ! He enjoys his first sleep over and went to bed around 11 pm!

Hyzyd doesn't like wearing wearing shades. The moment you'll let him wear, he'll automatically take it off...maybe he's just to young for this. I'm just glad I had taken some photos of him when he's 6 months old when our neighbor put this shade on him for the first time! The following photos were taken last week when we are playing. I let him wear my shades!...LOL! More babies with shades at Mommy Moments .

...this is what the granny in the church asked us after Hyzyd gave me the rose as part of the advance Mother's day celebration in the church. She was thinking that the parents are my bro and SIL because she always see them carrying our boy during church service and she's just thinking that Josh and I are just "unmarried lovers"... LOL ! I wonder, didn't she saw me being preggy ? She always comes in the church...Hmmm...Just understand the "olds"...he..he... We are family! Hyzyd is also greeted "Happy Mother's Day" his babysitter before when he's 2 months old Look at my boy...he just wanted to crawl towards his uncle when we prayed and declared blessings for the preggies ... By the way, just this afternoon, Hyzyd got a new trick. He's trying to imitate his uncle doing his "karate chant"...LOL ! Hyzyd never fails to amaze us with his ability to make us laugh .

We are looking for toys that will help develop Hyzyd's mental and physical development , enhance creativity and improve cognitive development instead of "just" toys made of plastic and battery operated toys. Hence, my hubby chose this slot mobile toy ,a simple toy that helps to develop basic shape recognition and eye hand coordination. I believe that Hyzyd's will enjoy fitting the 10 different shapes and colors into 5 geometrically shaped slots in the vehicle driven by Kitz, the lion mascot. The sorting pieces can also be used for simple constructions. Though it's recommended for children ages 1+, we noticed that though our baby is still 9 months old, he enjoyed playing with it and even attempted to fit the blue cylinder shape into its right slot! Just take a look: I dunno if it's just plain coincidence but it makes me glad that he loves this toy and I'm hoping that it will truly develop his cognitive, fine motor and independent play skills. I'm dragging myself from bed just to sneak in here and post my Mommy Moments entry. Oh my, I'm so sleepy . I would say that Hyzyd is so blessed to have loving uncles and aunt but the only one he knows by this time is my bro and preggy sis-in-law. They're both teachers too here in Hatyai City, Thailand. They usually spent their weekend with us because they miss my baby . I haven't yet experienced what is it to be aunt that's why I'm overly excited to meet my first niece by October ! Hyzyd was able to meet his Aunt Doxa when he was born. She's our youngest and she became an aunt at age 6. She's very happy to meet her first nephew. She came along with our parents and stay with us for almost 2 months. His aunt Doxa surely missed Hyzyd terribly . Hope they'll meet again this coming October! Last Saturday, August 1, 2009 is Hyzyd's schedule to visit his pedia and to take his vaccination shots. All goes well. From his 7.57 kg, he now weighs 8.2 kg and his height from 65.5 cm has now reached to 69 cm. The pedia said that he's a healthy boy and I'm so glad of the result. I thank you Lord. Furthermore, the pedia informed us that after he'll take his vaccination shots, we'll expect that he'll experience low grade fever after 6 days....I hope not...So far, he's doing fine. By the way, Hyzyd got a new babysitter. Details will be next time. I'm so sleepy ...so long for now and see you on next post.
